Inductive sensors (eddy current) are usually used in applications where harsh environmental conditions exist and high accuracy is required. The remarkable feature is that it is not affected by dust, pressure and end temperature. The sensor can even operate at high speed processes, using a large frequency response of 100 kHz (-3dB) to detect oscillations and vibrations.
